It's a wrap 2014. . .welcome to our 100th blog post! Wow, it seems like yesterday that we sat down and began clicking the keyboard to post our first blog...time truly flies. We are deeply grateful to our readers, fans, and followers, YOU! We have enjoyed sharing our thoughts and design ideas over the last 99 blog posts, and look forward to sharing many more in 2015. Happy New Year!
Before we pop open the bubbly tonight to celebrate the beginning of the New Year, we wanted to take time to look back on 2014 and also share what lies ahead for us in 2015.
2014 was truly exciting and fun! Living the jet-set life for a few months (so it seemed anyway), we were very thankful for the opportunities to attend the Architectural Digest Home Show held in New York last Spring, the Las Vegas Market held in the heat of July, and a return visit to New York in August! Some of our travel highlights included reconnecting with our dear friends, meeting new friends and colleagues, and starting new design connections. . .Not to mention hugging on Donny Osmond, attending a fantabulous pajama party with other designers from around the country, champagne lunches, and sharing lots of laughs!
Aside from our marvelous travels, we were very excited to achieve over 3000 Twitter followers and look forward to 3000 more! Our thanks continue with the most important thanks of all, we are very, very thankful for our dedicated clients and new clients we were blessed with during the past year! Cheers to a great 2014...
With fond memories of 2014, we look ahead to 2015 and the many positive changes coming our way. Yes, travel is still on the horizon...look out New York, Las Vegas, California, and hmmm ??? Over the next couple of months we will be launching a new and promising website that is uplifting and fresh full of new projects and design ideas. Our blog will be taking on a new look as well. Look for our featured "Interior Design Guide" for inspirations, how to's, and designer tips and design guidance. We are excited about these changes and can't wait to share them with you. Change is good!
More good changes coming our way with the addition of NAHB's (National Association of Home Builder's) CAPS certification. CAPS (certified aging-in-place specialist) certification will open up a new avenue for our design business, and will lead the way to helping others to be able to live in their homes no matter what ages or physical challenges they may face. Designing for all ages is near and dear to our hearts and we are honored to be able to offer this new service on our design menu. Stay tuned!
Well, it's been great sharing our look back and what lies ahead with you. We hope you enjoyed reminiscing with us and learning about our new exciting services. Thank you again for your continued support. Here's to a very Happy New Year . . . welcome 2015!
