Design Soup | Infused Water for a Healthy Refresh-mint!

Welcome to Thirsty Thursday!  Last week we talked about the benefits of drinking infused water and shared a delicious strawberry & mint water recipe.  This week we are featuring a simple, yet refreshing recipe infusing cucumbers and mint! Did you know that cucumbers are low in saturated fat, very low in cholesterol and sodium and are a good source of vitamin A, pantothenic acid, magnesium, phosphorus and manganese, and a very good source of vitamin C, vitamin K and potassium?  Who knew!?

  • 2 quarts filtered water
  • 1 cucumber sliced thin
  • Few sprigs of mint

Wash and rinse cucumber and mint sprigs. In a 2 quart pitcher combine water, cucumber slices and mint sprigs.  Chill at least 2 hours.  Serve over ice.
